Services
I provide a range of tree care services to help you meet your desired objectives – including consultations, pruning & maintenance, education, and tree planting. Small to medium sized trees are my specialty (roughly the size of a house or smaller), but I am happy to work on trees of all sizes. I enjoy pruning young trees because they benefit most from corrective pruning. Helping them to develop strong, healthy structure goes a long way to prevent future issues.
I always aim to meet your objectives while informing you of the unique needs of your tree. Urban trees require specific care to thrive, and I enjoy working with clients to build a culture of stewardship.
Pruning & Maintenance
Pruning is about making thoughtful cuts in the service of specific goals—managing risk and tree health, developing good structure, managing size and shape, and improving aesthetics, to name a few. Tree maintenance refers to important non-pruning related work like soil care, root collar excavation, or the installation of cables or braces.
Tree Sourcing & Planting
Healthy, long-lasting trees start with good roots and strong structure. I’ll help you pick out quality nursery stock, get it planted right, and make sure it’s properly supported. I’ll also walk you through the basic care it needs early on, so it grows well and stays low-maintenance down the line.
Consultations
Just looking for some honest advice? I offer consultations for homeowners who want a second opinion, guidance on next steps, or help understanding their tree’s needs. Whether you're planning to do the work yourself or hire someone else, I’m happy to share what I know.
If you’re the hands-on type I offer pruning lessons tailored to your trees. We’ll cover what to cut, what to leave, and how to make good decisions that keep your trees healthy and looking great.

Soil Testing
I offer basic soil testing to assess nutrient levels, pH, soil texture, and others key factors that contribute to tree health. Understanding what’s going on in your soil can help explain symptoms like slow growth, leaf discoloration, or dieback, and point us toward responsible solutions that actually address the root causes.
